However I find the convenience and benefits of using quicken outweigh the remote theoretical risks. Many here view that risk as too high, however low it may be. They say they have robust safety protocols, but there is always some theoretical risk. Sure, there is some theoretical risk in the quicken password storage. A password manager is a safe and convenient way to store passwords whether you use quicken or not. I've use Quicken for years, and just started using a password manager.

I don't think using Quicken 'defeats the purpose' of a PW manager.
